Ateraverse ’25

I was brought on to lead motion and design for Ateraverse ‘25, Atera’s global online event. With a short timeline and a wide range of deliverables, the goal was to build a flexible, playful system that could scale across teasers, intros, title cards, and transitions — all while staying true to Atera’s brand. The theme this year nodded to The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, with a tone that was curious, comic, and slightly absurd. I had creative freedom to push the visual language, mixing cutout elements, layered UI, and stylized transitions.

✦ Teasers ✦

I directed and animated a teaser video that opened key keynotes during the event. Each teaser introduced a different chapter of the Ateraverse story, combining animated UI, bold typographic layouts, and a mix of 2D cutouts with comic-style movement. These were designed to feel punchy, mysterious, and distinctly digital — quick to grab attention but filled with texture.

✦ Intro Animations ✦

Each section of the event had its own short intro animation. These sequences leaned into the idea of re-entering a fictional operating system, using layered interfaces and graphic UI cues that felt both futuristic and familiar.Storyboarding helped keep things tight and modular. With the short turnaround, I developed a flexible framework early on to quickly evolve ideas into motion while keeping things aligned visually.

✦ Title Cards & Animated Transitions ✦

Title cards and transitions were all built from a shared motion kit — a reusable bank of animated elements I created to keep things fast, consistent, and expressive/
