DeviantArt

I’ve been collaborating with DeviantArt, one of the largest online creative communities, to develop a unique motion language that brings their bold, digital-first identity to life. From campaign videos to motion toolkits, our work together focuses on crafting animations that feel dynamic, playful, and true to the platform’s creative spirit.

2024 Wrapped – A Motion System for a Year in Art

For DeviantArt’s 2024 Wrapped, I developed a motion toolkit to define the campaign’s visual identity. This toolkit established a cohesive animation style - blending pixelated, glitchy, and kinetic elements that reflect the energy of the DeviantArt community. The result was a vibrant, high-energy visual system that seamlessly tied the campaign together and celebrated the platform’s artists in a fresh and engaging way.

Adoptables March Madness – A Tournament of Creativity

Another exciting project was Adoptables March Madness, an event showcasing DeviantArt’s thriving Adoptables marketplace, where artists create and sell original character designs. My role was to craft motion-driven storytelling that amplified the excitement of this tournament-style event. The animations captured the energy of the competition, bringing the arcade-vibes designs to life in a fun, immersive way.

These projects were made possible through close collaboration with DeviantArt’s talented in-house team: Design: Vlada Kirilove and Product Marketing: Masha Altshuler. Our ongoing partnership continues to push creative and technical boundaries, and I’m excited to keep developing fresh, engaging motion work for DeviantArt’s passionate audience.
